His sense of humour can both be shared with a young audience as well as an adult audience. He's gradually developed well over time, and has managed to rid of his "jerk" attitude from the first game, whilst still managing to keep all of the quirky humour that he's so well known for. Not many funny characters can also portray a deep storyline and history as well as Ratchet can. By far, my choice, he deserves to be high up this list. - BloodyThunderX

Laugh out loud this furry lombax cracks me up, he is a bit of a jerk in Ratchet and clank 1 but in all the other games he is hillarious, sarcastic, badass and clever, and he has an incredibly interesting backstory and superb character development
