Yes! Out of all the animals people are currently trying to resurrect, this makes the most sense to me. The only real reason they went extinct was because of over hunting, so they're habitat and niches are still there. Some other species I'd like to see come back include Huia, Bachman's Warbler, Gastric-Brooding Frog, and Pyrenean Ibex. Some I completely disagree with. How is the Woolly Mammoth number 1!?!? That's a horrible idea! They were killed a long time ago, and the climate has changed completely. Where would we put them, in a zoo? So people can gawk at them? There's just no place for Woolly Mammoths anymore. Other species, like the Baji River Dolphin and Ivory-billed Woodpecker, shouldn't be brought back because their habitat has been mostly destroyed, leaving nothing left for them...
