Sorry to seem like a Troll but I find it intolerable for this movie to be number 2.Interstellar was another recent indication that Nolan has in recent years become too confident in his own shtick. The two major issues. It was too long, and It had way too much nonsense.Video communication across the galaxy only travels one way? When they travel to that planet for 20 earth years and leave the guy behind, he decides not to waste his life in the hibernation thing, but to spend it doing nothing by himself in space? Cooper decides to trust Hathaway's character in picking planets despite all the evidence implies the other planet is more likely to have life; purely because she liked the guy on the other planet better. And this trust comes after her actions resulted in the other crew member dying? Plus she's supposed to be the scientist with the objective viewpoint. 有史以來第一部讓我公開哭泣的電影。我沒有沖著那個穿條紋睡衣的男孩哭泣，也沒有因為我們明星的過錯，也沒有因為其他人認為悲傷的電影而哭泣。就這一部。我不知道為什么，但這部電影對我來說是如此的原始和感傷，音樂在適當的時候起伏沉寂，我不知道為什么我會在這個時候哭，但是我很奇怪，我絕對非常喜歡這部電影。至少我應該得7個獎

First movie ever that made me cry openly. I didn't cry at the Boy in the Striped Pajamas, not at the Fault In Our Stars, not at any movie that others considered sad. Just this one. I don't know why, but this movie is so raw and emotional for me, and the music swells and falls silent at just the right moments, instead of those lame movies with music at moments where the audience is groaning inwards because it was so obviously at the wrong time, so it becomes cheesy. I don't know why I would cry at this one, but I'm weird. I absolutely, positively LOVE this movie. Deserves 7 awards, at the very least.

Really Great Movie, But I wouldn't consider it on par with films like Whiplash, The Imitation Game or Birdman. It's moments are very twisted and memorable and it's defiantly original however it's not the hype of legends like many would think nor does it set a standard for films in out of space (To be fair no one can beat 2001). But it's still a credit to Christopher Nolan and Johnathan Nolan's out of the box thinking. But compare to Inception it's The Dark Knight Rises of Christopher Nolan's IN trilogy. - Drewstar

To say that this movie blew me away doesn't do it justice. This is not just my favorite movie of 2014, it's my favorite movie OF ALL TIME. The acting is impeccable, and the plot is So. Darn. GOOD!The soundtrack is perfect too, falling silent at all the right moments. It's a VERY intense movie, but it's so beautifully... human. I feel like this movie changed me, inspired me. I didn't even know that screenplays could be this good! In other words: no matter what the critics say, INTERSTELLAR is bound to become a classic.

I saw this movie three days ago. From the minute the credits started rolling, I knew this was one of the best movies I had ever seen. Not only did I cry once, but three times. I thought the relationship between the man and his daughter was beautiful, the perspective on life, the special effects. Even the subject caused me to laugh because I was googling about wormholes and black holes last week. It was absolutely impeccable. 10/10. - brieenie

Despite the fact that it's a psychological tearjerker, it had blown me away. Wow. Pretty cool stuff. I kind of understand how black holes and wormholes work, just not entirely. Interstellar was thought provoking on why the environment is being effected on Earth and a few brave astronauts find a place to colonize in different moons. There was drought and not enough water to provide crops full of delicious corn and wheat. *laugh* Of course, we see Matthew McConaughey's character as a farm boy turned astronaut leave earth with a few colleagues in a spaceship and there are a few trials they had to face when they get there. I can't tell you what happens when they're on different from from Earth or you'll be disappointed. So to sum it all up, no more spoilers! It was just great, but not the best movie of all time.

This is easily one of the best movies that I've seen in a long, long time. A near flawless plot from start to finish, accurate and fascinating science, which is more than I can say for most sci-fi, and the constant thrill of not knowing where it will go next. This film is a masterpiece, there's no denying it, and there is certainly the possibility of a sequel. If you haven't seen it, I urge you to see it ASAP. - PositronWildhawk

A prequel, Ricky, would involve Cooper's training as a pilot and would coin why the mission in the original film was important, I guess. But what about the colony which we see being established at the end? Will that civilisation, along with the one set up at the Cooper station, survive? Will it do good or bad? So many questions, and so much more bloody awesome science, so let's see a sequel! - PositronWildhawk
