Russian food is a wide range from elegant cuisine with caviar och sturgeon to rustic dishes like a rich Borscht. And for desserts you'll get marvelous pastry. I have been to st Petersburg and had marvelous things to eat, at high end restaurants that weren't even expensive. Chrystal chandeliers, desserts on golden trays, white linen everywhere.
