This episode made me feel really underwhelmed. Most of the episode was just driving. The only things that made me happy in this episode was Simon's introduction and Negan's introduction. That made up for the rest of the episode. However, the cliff-hanger really made me very disappointed. I get why The Walking Dead did it so that viewers would not leave but it still made the episode and next episode very disappointing. 1 good rule to know on this show is don't kill Glenn. I understand that it was good for the comics but it isn't great for the show because Glenn's actor was an amazing and once in a life time actor and his character was also developed so well as well. The consequence of killing Glenn was AMC losing 40% of its viewers. What the Walking Dead should do for the Season 8 Premiere is make the biggest twist ever on The Walking Dead history. Why does everyone hate the cliff hanger? I thought it was really smart. It makes a great discussion topic over the summer and keeps people guessing so people get even more pumped for the season 7 premier. What better way to begin than reveal Negan's victim? I mean the episode could've been a little more well done because most of it was just them driving around, but the final scene with Negan was probably one of my favorite scenes in T.V. history. 5th best episode to me. Could have avoided too much long driving, could have had Enid and Carl build up a stronger relationship towards it, hell maybe see them make their first passionate kiss in it and take out the Carol and Morgan search and leave it for Season 7 since that a more negan's and rick group in even centric one would be far more powerful and I would also have liked the governor being alive part in here slim chance scene happen as I gave good details on the impact of this in my best episode comment, "Too Far Gone about him being here and executing Michonne and Negan executing Abraham. The cliff hanger was an okay-so so move to me but like I said about the Too Far Gone episode, if that scene happened it would most certainly justify the cliffhangers and make season 7 hit records. In the end, love is what matters most, love of family, being together through the best worst that the (apocalyptic) world has left, make every little gesture matter. And sacrifice for the same ressons. Whether it's appreciated later on, all groups with the same "code" will foutrish. The bond cannot be broken, and this episode shows ALL of those qualities in various characters.
