I honestly was extremely disappointed with this. You need Gru and everyone else to have a god story. The minions are not able to be the main characters in their own movie and have it be good. The only time I will watch this is when I am having a Despicable Me marathon and I have to survive through the humor lacking boredom of this awful prequel before I can actually get to the classic Despicable Me's.

I hate when people use the excuse "oh it's just for kids." Keep in mind that the first two movies of this franchise were actually enjoyable for both kids and adults alike, so of course people of all ages are going to expect something from this movie. And all they get is annoying characters that should've just stayed in the background.

Yeah, yeah, I know, I know. You are all tired of minions. Whatever. I'm not. I liked this movie, the jokes were good, the climax was nicely done, there was plenty of creativity, good animation, and I still enjoy that minion humor. Minions are pretty much the zombies of kids movies, though.

This movie is nothing more than a cash grab! The humor is heartless fart jokes, lazy slapstick, etc. and most of the characters (especially the main villain, I forgot her name) are extremely bland. The entire minion cult needs to die!

Bob is so cute but Minions is just so awful that it will not ever be nominated. If there is such thing as "Worst movie academy awards", Minions will win "Worst animated feature film" because it is the worst animated feature film.

Yayy! Go minions. Minions are the cutest thing ever, they rock! My fave minion is bob and his little teddy: Tim. As well as having a villain in the film and making your heart pound at the dramatic parts minions certainly does have its funny moments too!

Minions is the best animated film of all time. The minions are cute, especially Kevin Stuart, the only thing to make this film better than the 2 prequels is making a story about the minions. Cause everyone likes minions.
