SPOILER: I hated how cold she was when her child died. If it was a human child they would have written a more appropriate reaction for her to portray smh! They made her a horny, sexually-driven Queen in the last two episode, who only cares about getting laid with Jon Snow and cares less about her children. She even recklessly took the two remaining dragons to the meeting with Cersei, allowing them to notice how vulnerable they could be! Unfortunately, you can tell at the meeting that her presence is nothing compared to the presence of Cersei, Tyron, and Jon. She is becoming more clueless and naive as the show progresses and I don't like it. - mood333

God I love this character. My favorite part is that she's morally complex, and yes at times she needs to be taken down a peg or two, but she genuinely wants to do the most good, even if there is no good or clear way forward. She tries, and she fails, and she tries again. I hate that often times women characters are one-note, either as a weak plot device or a male fanservice. I enjoy that she is a real person who is imperfect, she may never sit on the iron throne but I certainly hope she makes it to the end, as an advisor, or a co-leader, or helping another she respects for having beaten her in the game

Okay from a biased woman's perspective Dany is probably the best character out there. Not only did she first over power her brother which was unlikely in the middle ages but she married into a clan of people that she didn't even know, learnt the language in no time, was names 'khaleesi' showing her immense power even after Drogo had died, went into fire with her dead husband and three petrified dragon eggs but lived through the flames showing she is a true dragon, and helped hatch three dragons that were meant to be extinct for centuries! Then she locked p the king of Quarth in an unlockable vault with one key that on of her Dorthraki soldiers has got, manages to bring up her dragons and gain the title 'mother of dragons, then went to other major cities, got 8,000 unsullied soldiers and freed them from their slave bonds yet they still stayed with her, tricked the slave owner by one of her dragons burning him alive after she traded one for the army, then went and freed another 2,000 ... more

I have fixed feelings about Dany. She is a great character with some of the most badass and iconic moments of the series. But she is also quite entitled and I disagree with many of her actions. She is lucky she has such good advisors or she would have lost long ago. Plus she relies too much on her dragons or her resistance to fire to impress people, more than actual merits. However, I think we can all agree that the show would not be nearly as good and badass without Khaleesi and her dragons. - lilyflower

She is one of the best fictional female characters on par with the likes of Hermione Granger, Katniss Everdeen etc. Her strength, her kindness, her beauty, her determination, her knowledge and most of all, her character development are what keeps her at the cream of the crop. Hardships haven't broken her but strengthened her spirit. And she's practically the most powerful character on the show! I mean, dragons as children? Beat that!

Despite the Dany hate, I can't believe she's a bad character. Maybe her decisions in politics aren't very clever, but she's a warrior. Daenerys has something in her that made you believe in her. Even she's annoying sometimes, she's still my favorite. I think the haters don't search for the real Daenerys's character, they only search the things they don't like in her to build the character. Daenerys is much more complex.

She has made some mistakes but nevertheless infuses the show with "wonder and awe". Not surprising that people hoping for a better world want to follow her. Of course she feels entitled; she believes (as we did) that she is the heir to the iron throne. She and Jon would do a great job together, but I'm sure that will not be allowed to happen.
