He's the most complex character on the show, hands down. We not only learn how he's perceived, but how he actually is. We learn who he is, what his morals and values are, his honor, his loyalties.We see him at his highest and his lowest, at his most despicable and his most lovable, his most haughty and his most modest. We hated him when he pushed Bran out the window, we felt sorry for him when he lost his hand, and we even found ourselves cheering for him when he caught that sword with his fake hand.If there's one thing that defines Thrones, it's grey area, and Jaime is the perfect representation of that. He's not good, but he's in no way evil. He's on Cersei's side (pre-Season 7 finale), but he fights with honor. Easily the best character in the series. Dynamic, complex, compelling and fun to watch.It's a shame the series was cancelled after season 4, but I guess at least that prevented the producers from ruining the rest of the series.

He's an interesting character. He has a complex view on violence and war, having displayed both tenderness and ruthlessness. But in all fairness, he still has a good heart, a touching compassion for things he loves and believes in. He treats Tyrion as a little brother who needs his protection. Season 4 is my favorite season partly because of that genuine brotherly love.

He's amazing. I love the show but I feel like recently a lot of the larger characters (Tyrion, Dany, Jon) have all been getting a little boring. I am never bored with Jaime. He's not a 'good man' but he has a good heart. He's done his fair share of good and bad and he recognises himself for it. He's not wholly good but certainly not wholly evil. Ser Jaime Lannister, member of the Kingsguard.The amount of this guy has been through, and overcome it, is tremendous. It was he who slayed Aerys Targaryen, popularly known as "The Mad King". The number of lives he saved in killing the Targaryen is countless. He's gentle, deep inside and the spurned love between him and Cersei might get worse as she took over the Throne with her surprise tactic - Wildfire. It was the same reason why Jaime killed the Mad King. Ser Jaime having squired for Ser Barristan Selmy (who was proclaimed to be the best swordsman that ever lived), learnt a lot of things from the latter and became a better human being. The hate that Jaime's been getting troubles him a lot, but he still doesn't care. All that he wanted was to live with Cersei and marry her. He's definitely one of the coolest characters in the series and is the ladies' man indeed. Over the seasons, we can understand the extent to which he can go, for love. He goes from villain to misunderstood hero in 3 seasons. His charisma and humor provide some of the best moments in thrones, and he even saves his brother Tyrion from certain death. His abides by his own code of honor and whether you like him or not his actions are some of the most pivotal plot twists and moments of the entire show.(killing aerys, pushing bran)

In some ways one of the most realistic characters on the show. I went from hating him in Season 1 to being thoroughly invested in his character and what happens to him. I suspect he'll be the character who will decide the fate of Westeros at the end of Season 8.

Why on earth is Walder Frey higher than Jaime, he's one of the most interesting characters in the entire series. He's neither necessarily good nor bad, he exists in a moral grey area that makes him one of the best characters in Game of Thrones.

Love his story arc...probably the person on the show who had the most interesting and surprising character development. Hated him in season 1. My favorite now. The opposite can be said about a lot of the other characters.
