While I understand why he died so quickly doesn't mean it eases the pain. I would have loved seeing more of Ned in the series. He would have been a great king, never betraying his integrity.

Ned was my favourite and always will be. Such an honourable man who cared for his family. And didn't deserve to die that way. Ned should of been kept alive. People say he's dumb because he didn't know how to play the game.of thrones but in my opinion Ned was clever. I know we never really see him fight apart from when he fought Jamie and was going to beat him. Plus Sean bean plays him. Just wish he was alive so everything that happened to his family.woildnt of happened even if it did Ned would of gotten his revenge by war as come on him leading an army against the lannisters they wouldn't of so against.ned as he was very smart in battle. Ned stark was my favourite character, he started the show off and made it great. his character was just amazing. he was honorable but sadly couldn't play the game of thrones. Ned is the main character of the show even though he's not longer alive, his death set everything into motion. plus in the show ned showed jaime that he was just as better as him as a swordsman which was great. RIP NED shame you didn't last longer.

Didn't get to know that much about this character in that regard he was rather cardboard. "A man of the highest honor." That directly defied him admitting to a lie of treason before his head was chopped off. A man whose sense of honor was set in stone would have felt compelled to tell the truth afterall, there exists no honor without truth.

Eddard Stark was the most honorable man Westoros had ever seen. He was the first protagonist we lost to the game of thrones death cycle and truly the most horrific. Way back in season 1, when we were unsure if we should care about any of the other characters, Eddard was somebody you instantly gave all. Excellent job by Sean Bean...

My favorite scene with him is the last time we see him amd Jon together before they leave for the wall or kings landing. It's the only time we see one of his (SPOILER) adopted parents actually be nice to him.

One of the characters I felt most sorry to see go. A just and fair man who put honour before pride. Would have loved to have seen him carry on in the Northern rebellion!

Its been 6 seasons have lots of heart breaking moments but still the execution of Ned was the saddest of all...liked his friendship with King Robert that scene with baelish wher Ned put him against d wall " u r a funny man Baelish"
