I don't hate Luna. She was selfish in the very beginning of the show because she wanted to start a new colony in the night or something, but Celestia didn't let her. A devil spirit crawled into Luna's heart because of jealousy, and hence, Nightmare Moon was born into her spirit and made the night last forever to make the ponies starve for no photosynthesis for plants. But when she was reformed by the Elements of Harmony, she turned good again. But even about 20 or some number of episodes, Luna came back. And for some stupid reason, (even though every single pony came to the ceremony) they thought she was Nightmare Moon... Ponies have short term memory loss or are more stupid than they look. But at the end, Luna befriended the ponies, and they finally realized she was the Pirncess of the Night, and the haunter of their dreams!

Luna is my favourite princess and the only reason she turned into NightMare Moon was because she was upset and jealous of Celestia because ponies played in her daylight and slept in Luna's night. It's not Luna's fault she was jealous, everyone is jealous sometimes.After that, when the Mane 6 turned her back, Luna realised the true meaning of love and friendship and she is loyal and caring for Celestia and the earth ponies, unicorns, pegasi and the alicorns. She also helps people face their fears and she stops their nightmares which makes her a loyal and kind princess.

I have this kind of unexplained jealousity over Luna for no reason, whenever I see her I'm like, yes that amazing Princess Luna again, don't get me wrong I like Luna, I would also like to see her in other episodes I do like to see her mane, her eyes her colors but I don't honestly think that other princesses were given chances more than Luna.
