Moved from NYC to the Illinois Subs and so far 4 years have been passed in this dump, with only work and no social life or friends... Why did I do that, absolutely no good reasons to live in Illinois. At least NYC doesn't sleep 24/7 and you can have great eats any time of the day, unbelievably good pizza, thin or deep dished, even the street vendors' food is delicious... Plenty of entertainment in NYC.., absolutely "0" in Illinois or Chicago, more expensive than NYC, no customer service, eateries are terrible, people are crazy, selfish, entitled, antisocial, judgemental, arrogant, rude, narcissistic, bigoted, opinionated, rural, ignorant, prejudiced, racist, obnoxious, and drive like they own the world, they never apologize or back off when wrong... Got forbid you get in an road altercation, they'll call the cops on you and the cops will actually show at your door to harass you for why you've given someone the finger. People in Illinois are very judgemental, arrogant, and take pleasure in putting others down to make themselves feel better. Not to mention most of the schools have serious problems with kids being bullied. The school systems also lack the ability to put a stop to the bullying and harassment. Maybe if these kid's parents weren't cruel themselves and didn't poorly parent,they wouldn't repeat the cycle.

Illinois is one of the scuzzy white trash places I've ever been and they are proud of it. I moved there from Colorado and always said there is no such thing as white trash...boy was I wrong! Rude Rude Rude...Not Friendly, Cold, Bitter, Complex...and I can keep going on and on...its Difficult to really choose who is the rudest, The Chicago Snubs or the combination of Eastern Europeans and Chinese in the Suburbs...I never seen anything like it..! and the Driving?!...Stop Signs are posted for Decoration..! Discrimination, Segregation, Bad Politics, Crime...and CORRUPTION is top in the U.S and probably top 10 in the World...and the Thing they really really think is really good, The Food? We had to try 10 Chinese places to find a good one, Pizza is the most horrible I've ever eaten...Italian, same as Chinese, 10 places before finding a good one. And people, we have our own company, reason why are we here for a year...so we can go all over, no matter the $$$ or the Drive...Chicago and its Surroundings have to be the most Overrated and Over Famed in the U.S...in all senses of the word...most things are overrated, when you think you went to a great place, second time around...you ... more
