What the hell. Talk about a bad episode. A really, really terrible episode. This episode suffered from extremely lackluster writing that fell WAY below the show's usual, high standards. The dialogue in this episode was, dumb to say the least and was very weak. The conflict in this episode was rushed, predictable, and very poorly written. Never before have I hated the Wonderbolts this much. Continuity is thrown out the window, and this episode has the audacity to reference "Wonderbolts Academy", and then make Bulk Biceps a weak flier and makes Spitfire look like a complete ass who tried to manipulate Rainbow Dash, as if she never learned any thing from "Wonderbolts Academy". Almost no one is in character and just makes me confused and angry. Another problem is that episode just seems lazy, recycling animation from "Sonic Rainboom" and the soundtrack from "Wonderbolts Academy", which is just unacceptable to me, seeing as this episode is part of 2 ... more

I. HATE. THIS. EPISODE. This barely beats out Somepony To Watch Over Me for worst of season 4. This was a poorly written episode, top 3 worst in the whole series, that made me want to bang my head on the table. Everyone here, INCLUDING Bulk Biceps, is extremely annoying and way out of character. The Wonderbolts here are atrocious and manipulative of Rainbow Dash. UGH! Other than Derpy's return, this episode lacks any meaningful value. Skip this one if you haven't watched season 4! - TexasBro93

The Characters are at their worst, the humor is just not funny (the show isn't really funny half the time, to begin with, and it's just worse here), and Rainbow dash creates her own problem. And yes, a character creating their own problem is a good method of storytelling,the only way it works is if it's because of their major character flaw that they must overcome. Not a key characteristic that makes them who they are. Like, I dunno, loyalty.

Why isn't this episode #1, this was HORRENDOUS, it was SO lazily written, likable characters were villainized, it RUINED the equestria games arc, everything doesn't make sense, clich茅 and boring lesson rainbow dash already knows, rainbow dash out of character, twilight was stupid, and it completely makes Corey Powell look stupid/dumb for writing this episode, and it ruined her as a writer to me, PLEASE PUT THIS EPISODE ON #1!
