If there's at least anything completely undeniable about this little beast is that its controller is the king of kings. Also my opinion the best analog stick on a controller of all time. Also, I love how the buttons actually have shapes so I can know what button I'm actually pressing. Similar to how I know the buttons I press on a PlayStation controller. Shapes and symbols beat letters any day. No game I ever played on this system I ever had a problem with. Beats Xbox 360 controller because the D-Pad on the Xbox is awful awful awful. Only little gripe for Gamecube controller is the C analog stick is kinda tiny. 10/10. Xbox 360 is right behind at like a 9.8/10. - Zeebs

YES. The Nintendo GameCube controller is designed to pure controller perfection. First of all, the face buttons. This is the best controller I have ever felt in my life! Amazing! My only problems are that the d-pad is absolutely useless and barely works, and playing SNES on virtual console is damn near IMPOSSIBLE because of the distance between B and Y. However, the control stick and c-stick are amazing, and the buttons and shoulder buttons feel incredibly satisfying and well worth it. I also understand the emphasis on the A button, since that's the button that most used in games (except SNES games, as I mentioned).

The analog sticks, the only main nintendo controller with analog triggers (perfect for racing games), the clever tetris placed buttons (superior than diamond shape in my opinion). The grips are awesome but, the 360 controller is awesome too (I prefer asymmetrical sticks, are more natural for me). In general, the gamecube controller is a masterpiece.

The C-Stick should not be so tiny. The buttons should not be placed like crazy. The Z button should not be in front of the Right Shoulder button. The A button should not be so huge. The D-Pad and the Joystick should switch places.
