This "musician" is quite arguably the Pixar definition of a fraud. And the most recent example of Broken Pedestal. Ernesto was once Hector's business partner and friend when Hector left his family to become a musician. However, when Hector began to miss his family and wished to return home, Ernesto tricked Hector into death by giving him food poisoning through a toast. The worst part? Not only did he murder his best friend, he also tricked people into thinking Hector choked on a chorizo, he stole Hector's guitar and songs to gain fame, and let's not forget he almost made Miguel fall to his death in the Land of the Dead. All I can say is that I rejoiced like everyone in the crowd when he got exposed and died by the bell a second time and left to be hated forever. FORGET YOU. - ModernSpongeBobSucks
