Bad episode. It only cements how more consistently inconsistent the show progresses as the contract writers know less how to characterize the Mane 6. Rainbow Dash commits domestic terrorism over the natural processes of Tank, denies science, and no one else cares enough to address the clearly unstable and irrational manic behavior. Why anyone believes this is on the best of list is beyond me.

To the person who said this is the only episode that tackles death: first of all, there's no death in this episode so I don't know what on earth you're even talking about. Tank was going into a hibernation period, not dying. Second of all, The Perfect Pear addresses death since it's clearly hinted that Applejack's parents are deceased.

The only episode to dare touch the topic of death. Without doubt one of, if not the most, emotional episode of the entire series thus far. Rainbow Dash got her first solo "I'll Fly", which was also one of the best songs thus far. And that RD crying scene was both hilarious and touching at the same time. Remember Twilight, AJ cries on the inside.
