I'm a 20-year-old male and I'll proudly admit that this is the first movie that ever made me shed tears. I just felt so bad for Elsa. Throughout my first year of college, I had no friends and basically stayed shut up in my dorm room for most the day. I know what isolation feels like. It's so much worse than I ever would have imagined. I think that's why Elsa's story made me so sad. I felt her pain as I watched. And then the whole deal with the ice powers she can't control. And then when she finally decides to let them go, this poor girl finds out that she buried the city in snow. I just can't imagine.

This was gw first film to make me cry, and it was for only one scene where Anna freezes. I felt REALLY bad for Elsa because of something she couldn't control. I cried because this connects to my life with Asperger Syndrome. Our actions can do great things and bad things, yet it's so hard to control that it feels like we don't do anything good. But I learned a lesson from watching this film because (Spoiler Alert) Elsa somehow melts Anna's frozen heart making her come back to life. Elsa and I both realize that even though some of our actions are bad, it's the heart and soul that is key. This is why Elsa is my favorite Disney character. Her heart and soul show everyone that she's not a monster because mistakes are what make us human.

I FELT SO BAD for Elsa, I mean, she lost contact with her family, especially ANNA, her people, and never made any friends. I'm also kinda mad at her parents, making her lose her social life, but I doubt agree, about learning to control her powers, but she was like, 10! And now she is like, 30! And was never out of the castle once! For 10,15 year's, imagine that! I understand that it is a movie, but still, I'm kinda into this movie right now, any way, I kinda wanted Elsa to be a villain, I don't know why! Any way, Great movie, Great singers (Elsa was the best) AND IT WAS NOT SAD

I LOVE this movie so so much! Elsa is a character that I truly admire, I feel myself who is someone who has suffered with depression and anxiety, I can totally relate to her feelings of being shut out, isolation and fear. It gives me a sense of strength when I watch it. And it is also the first Disney movie to empower girls and show them that they don't need a man to save them! As a 20 year old who has these feelings I find it an amazing movie that everyone will enjoy, that is sad in the beginning but has a hopeful ending.

I can see the great sorrow in this movie, Elsa has uncontrollable powers that caused her to harm her little sister, and she had to become isolated to keep from hurting anyone else. Another thing is, Anna and Elsa lose their parents to a storm in which they drown... then Elsa is misunderstood by her kingdom because she was scared people would find out she had powers, which caused her to go into hiding... in which she hurt her sister AGAIN.. man, poor girl :( - CloudofMercury

This movie is sad... Because it was poorly made! I mean, how do people LIKE this movie?! The MOVIE isn't sad, but, Disney, to me, didn't do good on this one. They made people obsessed with movie only for 2 reasons: Elsa and Olaf. Elsa, I don't know, but Olaf? They like him because he's FUNNY. they just are OBSESSED all because elsa and Olaf. They should've toned it down a bit. Yes, the story's a BIT sad, but people don't care. It's just, ELSA ELSA ELSA OLAF OLAF OLAF!

I dislike the parents who should have known better then to lock their child Elsa like that. Thanks to them Elsa was locked up which is devastating even for a 19 year old Male like me. They are complete opposite of Rapunzel's parents who wanted to find her and let her grow normally without making her feel bad because of her difference from others. Parents like Elsa's should not be allowed to have children. Who agrees?

The entire "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" sequence is heartbreaking. Hans telling Anna "if only there were someone out there who loved you" before leaving her to freeze to death. And finally Anna sacrificing her life to save the sister who could never express her love. Frozen should definitely be in the top 5 saddest Disney movies.
