Can't stand people who keep dressing up for a pointless celebration (of what? ) after the age of 10. because British Columbians have added fireworks to the silly event. Grow up ya losers. I thought it was silly and pointless as a kid and still do. And by the way it's not a "holiday" at all, no one acctually gets Halloween off work or school. Perhaps if it was a real holiday and a day off was in order I would enjoy it... so I could go and do something way more fun, cooler and healthier and avoid all the weenies that dress up.

Sure, it's supposed to be a fun day for kids to dress up as Superman or whatever. When they're in college, they're still doing that. But I can't even say that's why I dislike it. Not really a bad holiday, just extremely overrated and so childish in my opinion. You should stop going trick or treating sometime when you're a pre-teen. Plus, I just don't get the point when you can BUY candy. And Christmas can't be overrated, it's the most important because It's Jesus's birthday, plus, Christmas is the most loved holiday, most (and myself) think it's the best holiday and better than Birthdays.

Childish and overrated. I'll bet you 100 Hershey bars the kids who claim that this is the best holiday are gonna hate it once they have kids as an adult and are forced to find a crappy costume and give out candy to kids. For what purpose are you even giving candy to those kids? Let alone buying it. I bet they aren't grateful for it. I could spend my money on something else and someone who actually needs it. Not this.

Halloween is the second worst holiday really! You are forced to buy a bucnh of useless candy that a bunchg of little kids will ask for, and if oyu don't give them candy, they will egg your house! Living in the U.K. I am not a big fan of Hallowe'en at all. When I was a boy more than 50 years ago, we did not celebrate it at all here, because we have always celebrated 5th November instead. This is our Bonfire Night, when we make an effigy of Guy Fawkes (who unsuccessfully tried to blow up our Houses of Parliament that day in 1605) and throw it on a bonfire, and we also let off fireworks. However in more recent years Hallowe'en has begin to be celebrated, especially with "trick or treat". In the U.S.A. as I understand it, "trick or treat" is for younger children going from door to door, usually with adult supervision, and having made the effort to dress as witches. But here in the U.K. in my experience it is so often just teenagers out on the rampage that evening, and being so keen to play a trick that they do not bother to knock on your door asking for a treat.
