Seeing this and Home on the Range in theaters, I grew up liking both films (Granted, I was just 6 when I saw this in theaters). But after watching the movie just 4 years later, I started HATING this movie. Everything, from animation to the terrible attempts at humor, the list can go on. What made the film terrible, though, is the weak story that goes back and forth and the side stories make absolutely no sense at all. The start of the movie is basically a trouble making chicken trying to be a great baseball player. Then the plot switched to saving his town from an "alien invasion". I mean, this movie makes Nut Job look like Lion King or Toy Story, it's that bad.

Chicken Little is, bar none, Disney's most pathetic movie ever made. And this was made by a film studio which gave us childhood classics like The Lion King, Tarzan, Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. And now they come out with this? What happened? Without diving into too much detail, here are some of the many reasons why I hate this movie so damn much.1) The way the main character is treated. This film glorifies bullying, abuse and cruelty towards people and Disney passes it off as a "joke". That's not a joke, that's an insult. Just like this film. Bullying is not something that should praised. It should be condemned and made illegal in every country on the planet. He is treated like he's public enemy number one despite the fact that he has done nothing to harm anyone. Even by his own father. That guy is the worst parent of all time. As a parent, you're supposed to love your children unconditionally, no matter what dumb things they have done in the past. ... more

God, I hate this movie. I actually didn't think Home on The Range was bad, but I liked it because it at the VERY least managed to look good with its color scheme. I've seen a lot of bad movies like Ice Age: Collision Course, Old Yeller (that's just my opinion), The Angry Birds Movie, The Smurfs 1 2, Cool Cat "Saves" The Kids, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, the list goes on. But this is worse than all the bad movies throughout my life combined together.

I can't believe this movie was made by Disney! I expect good things from Disney, but this film was awful! This needs to be number 1. This is without a doubt the worst Disney film in existence. I didn't even pay for this, I actually got this movie for free as a gift from my local DVD store, and I didn't laugh once. Not even a chuckle. Avoid this movie at all costs! It's so bad it makes The Wild look like Aladdin!

This movie made me cry. And not the way I cry at good Disney movies when a parent dies, or when you learn a valuable lesson. No, I cry at this movie because it's so cruel! I mean, the entire world is against this one kid, who has an abusive parent, and is never believed when he thinks the world is falling apart. You wanna watch a great movie about a chicken? Watch Chicken Run instead.

His dad is unlikable and, to add neglect, he doesnt support him which makes no sense in an animated film. (He tries to ground him for no reason which meant to be an evil father). On top of that, the film does nothing to make his dad sympathetic. He is just outright mean-spirited, unfriendly, arrogant, hate-filled, mentally disturbed and is also a neglectful jerk who is almost heinous as Oscar from... the movie must never be named.

I thought the original tale took place on a small farm...

I remember liking this movie when it came out, but I don't remember a thing about it. by the way, I think Black Cauldron should be on here, it was terrible. Also, why are the Lion King and Little Mermaid on this list, they're some of Disney's best works!

I am a 39 year old, and I was 35 back when I first saw this movie. I was on my couch eating bacon cheetos, when I saw this on, so I'm like "I'll watch it, bruh". It was funny. I laughed and then showed it to my friends, but I had none, so I watched it for 8 straight days. 8 great days.
