This film knocked me flat. I've always been a massive fan of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine - I think his was one of the best superhero casting choices possible for Marvel, and the same goes for Patrick Stewart as Professor X. He absolutely floored me in this film, his performance was so unchained, so phenomenal that I thought that This film had a very Western look and feel to it, which I thought was a pretty great idea since it added to the feeling of solitude that the film developed. Patrick Stewart was brilliant as Charles Xavier, surpassing every single performance he gave in the previous instalments, and I also liked Richard E. Grant as the main villain. The action sequences...are sensational. This film has some of the most riveting action sequences I have ever seen in a superhero film. The direction is perfect, the score is good, it has some truly glorious character moments throughout, and let's just say that the character of Laura is awesome. I loved this movie.

Overrated. R rating element saved this movie. Otherwise a perfectly boring forgettable flick. Since it was R rated they were able to cram a lot of violence and swearings. So people thought the movie was cool and different. And it makes me cringe that people consider it the best superhero movie of all time. Hugh Jackman was a total jackass in this movie, Professor X was a crazy old man, villain sucked, X-24 was meh, forced emotions and boring plot. Laura was badass though. Nowhere as good as The Winter Soldier, Civil War, Spiderman 2 and X2. The more I watch this movie, the worse I feel about it.

10/10. I don't even need to explain why. Just WATCH it. I'm not even giving it that rating because it's a superhero movie. Just because it's a movie about superheroes does not mean it will be good (Batman V Superman anyone? ). This, however, is just perfect. A simple story working in favor for the film, brutal action sequences that make perfect sense, touching and compelling moments to put a drama aspect in there, and perfect dynamics between everybody. It also looks great. This is up there with The Dark Knight as one of the best movies of all time. - DCfnaf

Not just a great superhero movie, but an excellent film in general. Though Logan is full of exciting and thrilling moments, it never fails as a touching and compelling drama. The dynamics between Logan, Laura and Charles are always gripping and very well done. The story doesn't try to be pretensious, and is very simple, which works in the film's favour. The action sequances are brutal, but very well done, and the violence is not just there for the sake of it, but has a meaning to it. It shows the consequences of Wolverine using his powers, whether for good or not. Hugh Jackman gives his best prerformances and perhaps one of the best performances in the last 10 years of cinema as a tired, weary and depressed Logan. Patrick Stewart, as usual, is fantastic, as well as Stephen Merchant, who whilst having little screen time, shines as Caliban. Hated this movie. An insult to Wolverine fans. Logan became so weak, tired and fought like a drunken old sailor, Laura was so annoying, Professor X character was so poorly developed and Pierce was forgettable and Grant sucked. Logan fanboys are the worst ever. They can't take any criticism. Wherever I expressed my opinion, I was attacked by angry Logan fanboys. Worst Wolverine movie ever!

Not only is Logan an outstanding superhero / comic book movie but also one of the best films to come out in quite some time for any genre.
