I don't blame for all this failure and negative reactions on the studio, directors, writers etc. I blame it on those original trilogy fanboys I.e. prequel haters. These nostalgic nerds brought this unecessary star wars hate in the first place. They brought unwanted hate on the prequels and talked trash about Lucas. They constantly bullied, threatened and spread hate on the director, writer and actors of the prequels many of whose career due to which has been affected. And know what one of the actors has been in some mental institution due to the non stop bullying by these nostalgic freaks.And look now what happened? Everyone is now bashing this new series. This is the reward for what you all did in the past. Now no one will accept any star wars movie and the same in future. Thanks to these so called nostalgic fanboys for turning Star Wars fanbase toxic.

Can people just give this movie a chance. I'm a Star Wars fan and this was great. I don't just like it because it's "Star Wars". Episodes 1 and 2 were utter crap. The Last Jedi had full potential to itself. And how do people find this movie confusing? It's just about Luke training Rey because Rey discovers that she had Force powers she never expected. The only problem with the movie is that it just focuses on the Resistance more than the Jedi, and Vice Admiral Holdo.But it had great fight scenes, simple plot, and good direction. I don't even think Rose Tico is a bad character compared to what fans say.

I will be straight... this movie is great, the best one since episode 3 in my opinion. I hated episode 1, 2 and Rogue One, those movies for me don't exist for many reasons but I'll focus on The Last Jedi now. In technical issues, this movie is marvelous: direction is fantastic, photography, cinematography, etc. The score is fantastic and I liked how they included older themes. The action sequences are great, one of the best IN ALL THE FRANCHISE.Now, I'll go to the things that "fans" didn't like: 1) you didn't like how snoke died and that we didn't know anything about him, well remember that when original trilogy came out we didn't know the emperor's origins neither and he also died lamely.2) The death of captain Phasma. Well do you remember Boba Fett? He had one line in all the original trilogy and he died doing nothing. At least Phasma had more dialogue and helped in something. I'd rather not get into argument with the haters who slammed The Last Jedi. It's like screaming at a wall that just stands there and does nothing. You can be stubborn and bash Star Wars all you'd like. Plus, this doesn't mean I'm affected by all the cynicism and pessimistic opinions. Star Wars is basically about the battle between the forces of good and evil. You know what I'm talking about: dark side versus light side of the force. Think about it.

Just watched this movie, I actually liked it quite a bit! It does have problems in its first act however, but the twists and turns this movie takes with story are really great! But my favorite part of the movie was how a lot of the characters are developed, like Rey is no longer a Mary Sue and we learn Kylo Ren's motivations. I'm going to review it soon, but for now I give it either a 7/10 or an 8/10 - Phillip873

This movie is great. The acting, effects, characters and direction are top notch. Each conflict between individual character feels real and well developed. The fight scenes are some of the best in the franchise, bring intense but fun an fast paced. The story has a couple missteps, but overall was well paced and written.

I didn't like this movie at all. Too much plot holes, annoying characters, and uninteresting plot. Perhaps the only good thing about this crap is the CGI and special effects. 4/10 is the highest I can give Star Wars: The Last Jedi and this is coming from a person who enjoyed The Force Awakens.CharismaticKat101

One of the best things was that luke skywalker returned and even better, it returned with mark hamill (luke skywalker's actor since the OT) and some other things, to be honest, I don't know why its getting so much hate (its not rlly its like there are some hating it and its just famous companies saying it, not actual general fans of star wars)
