First off, it begins with ominous, lugubrious music, a voice over of "Darkness" and an aerial review of the Louvre that seems full of sinister portent. I gave a shudder of dread. Are we really gonna pick up where the worst movie ever ended, Batman Vs Superman? We all know that was a disgrace to the Dark Knight and DC franchise. Fortunately, the answer was no. Once franchise community was established, a mysterious package is received from Bruce Wayne to Diana Prince, Wonder Woman's alter ego. We are transported into this heroine's earlier life, long before she met Bruce or Clark. Then we are left with a movie, a pretty good one too. 8.5/10

Yeah this movie was good and it was a mega improvement to the disasters D.C. put out last year. However I found it to be overrated and I think a 65-80 on rotten tomatoes suit it better. I mean, all the war stuff is cool and gal gadot was the perfect Wonder Woman. But I did not like the ending AT ALL. A YouTuber I watch pointed out that the ending could have been smarter other than Wonder Woman and a guy fighting and blowing stuff up. The love interest (forgot his name) says that humans are just good or bad sometimes, and if we go stop the plane, we can do good or something like that. But no ares is actually real and apparently this can't be a superhero movie without a huge explosive mega fight at the end. Also that love conquers all thing at the end was a little insulting, considering she just punched a guy repeatedly. Also, WHAT ABOUT WORLD WAR II, does ares come back or something. Other than that, it was a good movie, and it is a big improvement - Phillip873

This was marginally better than Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Spider-Man: Homecoming. This movie, unlike the last two abominations from the DC Cinematic Universe, chose to strip it down and focus on developing ONE character: Diana Prince. It ultimately works in the movie's favor because when you focus on multiple characters, you don't get anything except cardboard characters (Looking at you, Suicide Squad). Action was great, character development was great, scenario was interesting, and beautiful scenery, especially at the Mascara. DCEU deserves a fantastic movie. This pretty much redeems them from Suicide Squad and BvS. 9/10 - DCfnaf

A week ago I saw my mom watching Wonder Woman. At first I didn't know what movie she was watching and then I ignored it. Later on, I was getting more eyed into it and I watched the rest of movie (kinda missed the first part though). After watching, I can say this. As the title says, it's wonderful in many ways. Good use of CGI, good acting, writing, story, theme, and setting. I say this can beat Guardians of the Galaxy 2 by a few meters short. Any word else. This movie is wonderful! 9.5/10 - Neonco31

1914 was the year when the world blew up into chaos and catastrophe. That was World War 1 which never became the war to end all wars. For this DC comics film, we see Wonder Woman go into battle against the enemies with powerful strength and agility. Remember Gal Gadot's who played Gisele from the Fast and the Furious franchise? Obviously, she was meant for the role as the title character. She is a few steps ahead with intelligence, bravery, courage, endurance, and intimidation. Aren't there any other DC Comics female superheroes who could do the same as Wonder Woman/ Diana Prince? Well I wish there were some I could include. Yes, there was an unexpected plot twist which I couldn't spoil for the DC Comics fans. Could it be an improvement for DCEU ever since it learned its mistakes from BvS: DoJ? Of course, it may be one of the best films of 2017. So how could it be popularly overhyped yet critically acclaimed at the same time?

Wonder woman was average to be honest. However the reason why people thought it to be really good was because the recent DC movies were really awful. And critics gave it a fresh score because the lead was a female. Normally female led films get a high score. Ghost Busters 2015 got a 73%, Gravity got a 96%, The force Awakens got a 92%, Mad Max got a 97% etc.. but those movies weren't that great and Ghostbusters was trash. Compared to the older DC movies, this one was just a meh... Acting in this was pretty good though. My personal rating is 6/10.
