2012 should be ranked #1 on this list because of all the tragic things that have happened in 2012, the Costa Concordia sank, 20 kids were killed in a mass school shooting in Connecticut, people committed suicide because of the end of the world predictions, a lot of people feared the end of the world in 2012, there was a mass shooting at a movie theater in Colorado and all of these tragic moments affected the whole year of 2012, therefore making 2012 the worst year ever. I cannot believe that such a tragic year was ranked #1 on the list of the best years in the 2010s, 2012 is the worst year ever and the most overrated year ever. I do not get why do people love 2012 after all of these tragic things happened in 2012 and If you look up most tragic moments of 2012 and the Costa Concordia sinking then you will see why 2012 was the worst year ever. - EpicTime9012
