I live in California and trust me, the people there are so rude. I have never seen people with such little class and respect. People are also afraid of each other, so no one helps each other out. That's because we are the most hostile state in America. You can't trust anybody. So even the nice people in California are scared of others because they are so mean. Born in CA 1957 I'm DONE with their rudeness, fast drivers, mean people. give me 5 acres of pure heaven in another state. Neighbors can see into your house, neighbors kids crying none stop, dogs barking, loud base sounds, gangs taken over the beaches, homeless sleeping on your front yard. I have lived in Manhattan beach, La Jolla shores, second home in Palm Springs. Done with California! Time to retire to a another state.

I have visited and also have lived. it is a mixed bag. LA cities( LA County) Long term residents, not there to be in the industry from some place else are the nicest people, newly moved there and keeping up with the jones type, which there are plenty there, are rude. Venice Beach, Marina Del Ray, San Fran, San Jose, in my personal opinion are the friendliest in California.

I have just recently been to California, though it's interesting people in LA are rude and unhelpful, I went to Santa Barbara and it was a bit better. New Yorkers are much friendlier than in LA. It's a shame because there are some beautiful parts of California

Trust me, I live here and I can verify the people are very rude, discourteous, unfriendly and are unwilling to help. Don't like live here despite all the nice things you here about it. Once you get to CA, you'll realize they're not like you thought.

I grew up in southern CA about an hour from LA. The people are stuck up, rude, and think they are all better than you. It's a great place to visit; there are so many wonderful places and aspects about California, but the people aren't one of them.

We moved here from Michigan 3 years ago.We HATE it. Rude,rude, people,self centered, difficult and obnoxious. The health care is a joke,bad air, and its filthy! Go into most public restrooms and "certain" people put dirty toilet paper on the floor instead of in the toilet! Nasty! And that's in "nice areas". Don't tell me to leaveif I don't like it.. we are!Ps, no one,no one takes responsibility for their behavior. Lying is rampant in the professional word

I lived here for nearly three years and I was in the Bay Area and then Sac. The people were WAY more friendly than Minnesota. This website is wrong. Lol. I loved Cali! Ill probably move back. Made more friends here
