I am an Oklahoman born and raised here all my life... I'm from a small town (Ft.Gibson) and it has a very low crime rate, great schools, and wonderful people. There are lots of small towns in Oklahoma just like mine, small but supportive communities where morals and values are upheld and encouraged. There are wonderful people all over the state! It's an Oklahoma thing...

Great environment to raise a family. You will not mean people more friendly than Oklahomans. They have similar values and stay true to being a person for others. They live at a slow pace so you most likely will see people stopping what they are doing to strike up a conversation with a stranger.

The people here are so friendly. If you ask someone for directions, they will help out and sometimes drop want they're doing to help. I have never met a rude person. People will always hold the door open for you. It's the little things

Oklahoma has the friendliest people hands down! Everyone is happy and outgoing. I'm amazed at how friendly everyone is here I've lived here for five years and traveled all over the USA and have yet to meet people friendlier than Oklahomans.

Oklahoma is hands down the most Friendliest state I have ever been to! The people are amazing, and are very genuine. I have been all over this country, and am always amazed and blown away at how friendly people are here.

Oklahoman's are very friendly. They seem to know when someone is down and hit them with a compliment that brings them right back up. It's really something special we have here.

Moved here about 20yrs ago and this place is the worst for self centered back stabbing people once you get to know them. It's a cultural thing statewide that I can't get used too.
