I was born and raised in Ohio. Lived on the west for 20 years and I finally returned because I really wanted a better day-to-day life. People here greet strangers, small-talk, make eye contact. One of my neighbors offered to let me play her piano on Sundays! Usually at the end of the day, I think to myself how nice people are. When I lived on the west coast, I used to spend a lot of time thinking how mean people are.

I'm born and raised here. I stay around northeast Ohio, some people are rude and mean but a lot are nice too. There's a good variety of people, and you usually don't have to go far for anything as it's fairly dense over here. There's plenty to do here and people are relatively easy going and nice to talk to.

Visited Ohio and they were friendly and helpful. On the roads, they dont beep at you and let you merge with a friendly smile. One of the nicest states we have visited. I would say Tennessee and Texas are right up there with them.
