Yes there's way too many of them and everyone knows not to randomly compare too completely different things, but that doesn't mean you have to harshly criticize someone for it. This is one of the moments where harsh criticism isn't necessary. Again, this may be a bad habit but still use constructive criticism and maybe the person will learn from his/her mistakes.
