As I said in the 1st item, Cap was very dull and bland in Infinity War to the point that we don't really root for him as much as we do with the other Avengers in the movie. But with Endgame, we get to see a lot of characterization and development for Cap that make us cheer for him and sympathize for him. Heck, he even was able to lift Mjolnir when he fought Thanos.
