The debut of another iconic robot. Hypno-Disc boasted a massive flywheel capable of ripping opponents to pieces. This was the first robot to really demonstrate the potential of the horizontal flywheel, and how much energy can be stored in them. They tore up bots like Robogeddon and Stealth, had some issues with reliability in later fights, but still made it all the way to the Grand Final.
