The most overrated comedian ever! I could NEVER stand him. His stand up is very stale, I usually like "hyper" people but he is flat out annoying and comes off as a try hard. All his "comedy" movies are retarded non-funny chick flicks. The only reason why people started paying attention to him is because of that stupid myspace war between him and a few others of "who can get the most friends" that screams loser to me.

He is by far the most overrated comedian. I remember seeing one of his early stand up routines on comedy central a long time ago. I thought it was pretty funny, but after that I heard some of his future longer routines and found them to be mediocre at best. SO much hype around this lackluster comedian. Very much the most overrated I can think of.

Not as familiar with Dane Cook. I do think his stand-up is funny. I would compare it to a really good vanilla ice cream. His schtick of men act like this while women act like that routine is kind of antiquated. I think he has good timing, but I cannot watch Dane for a long time. If he is on the telly I'll stop and watch. Funny, sure. Hilarious, no. He might want to focus on acting since he is a good looking guy, and does have a certain presence on stage.

He is nothing more than a college frat-boy with a microphone. He has a few funny bits that make up roughly 5% of all of his material. The other 95% is a bunch of tired jokes about sex and relationships. He thinks his "loud, hyper and obnoxious" act makes his material more funny, but it doesn't. It's just awkward and he is making an jerk of himself every time he takes the stage.

I agree. His first comedy central special was funny, and then I think he believed the hype about him and just started phoning it in, like he didn't think he needed to try anymore.
