Prairie Dogs are loveable animals that make great pets. They need lots of love and attention as they will get very sad if you abandon them or loose interest in them. With a healthy diet and a loveable home prairie dogs can live 12+ years. I'm going on my fourth one and I can say they truely rank up there with dogs and cats. Make sure to spayed or neuter your baby as it will be a more loveable and happy pet. Prairie Dogs should be on this list. Thank you.
