People can mean different things by the same word.E.G. we call Filipino the biggest and official language of the Philippines, also known as tagalog.We call Indonesian the biggest and official language of Indonesia which could also be called East Javanese and which is called Malayan in Malaysia but is actually the same language.And there's Hindi which you could call Indian because it is the biggest and official language of India and which is called Urdu in Pakistan although it's the same language.It's all just names.
