I'm atheist (well, I identify as one considering I am being raised Catholic) and I think atheists are great people. Some of the worlds greatest scientists are atheist like Stephen Hawking, Albert Einstein (agnostic), and Nikola Tesla. Bill Gates, one of the richest people in the world, is agnostic. I'm also a fan of Richard Dawkins and his evolutionary biology contributions (I also LOVED his TED talk). I definitely tolerate religious (not overly religious) people, but I use science to know how the world works. I do think the bible and other religious books are fiction (the writers had some VIVID imaginations though and most of the stories in the bible are still pretty good, I'm just saying that they aren't real). I also think heaven and hell are not real (the only thing above us besides the sky is the universe and the thing farthest below us is the inner core). - PhoenixAura81

I was hired at my job by an atheist, and the nurse at our job site is an excellent nurse and an atheist. As a Christian, I believe we are all made in the image of God, whether or not we believe in him. I don't expect everyone to be like me, there is freedom of religion in the United States and certainly good people of all religions, or no religion...

They are complete jerks to everyone who believe in any type of gods. They believe religion causes war and that without religion there would be no war which is totally false cus a lot of wars are caused by power hungry people not religion and will stay a part of humanity even without religions.
