這是為數不多的書我讀過電影改編的電影比書本身。是目前為止我最喜歡的一個電影,但是這本書是無聊和草率的在我看來。我讀過兩次,它仍然沒有同樣的效果,這部電影,讓我添加我是多么失望,《暮光之城》這本書排名高于. .絕對不幸。

This is one of the few books I've ever read where the film adaptation was much better than the book itself. The movie is by far one of my favorite films, but the book was so boring and sloppy in my opinion. I read it twice and it still didn't have the same effect that the movie did. Let me add how disappointed I am that Twilight is ranked higher than this book...absolutely unfortunate.

Wait, wait, wait. How is this only number seven?! This is one of the best books I have ever read. The topics are so mature, and it talks about the REAL issues in this world. Charlie is the most beautiful character ever--he bleeds emotion. This book changes you, in a way that other books never will. I was changed forever when I read this. It helped me discover myself. It was NOT written sloppily--that's how it was meant to be written. It was from the point of view of a teenage boy who had so many feelings rushing through him all the time, who was trying to find himself. It brings up everything that is so important (keep in mind--not GOOD, but important)--suicide, rape, molestation, abortion, rejection, depression, drugs...the list could go on and on. These messages are important. This book is beautiful. Inspirational. Life-changing.
