Nope, I'm sorry, but this shouldn't be on this list. The animation is cheap and lazy. The theme song is just saying the title of the show over and over again. The concept is dead on arrival. The writing is formulaic and atrocious at that. The dialogue is either stupid, redundant, or all of the above. Ruby's voice actress is the worst I've ever heard. The sound effects are over-the-top and cartoony and don't fit the show's tone. It's inconsistent with the era it takes place in. It's clearly set in 1950s North America, but one episode shows a kid with an MP3 player. The music is decent, but it's way overused. It's a bad show. If you disagree, you probably follow the "It's Just for kids" mentality, which I refuse to take seriously. Either that or you're nostalgia-blind. Just watch a few episodes and those nostalgia goggles will quickly fade to reveal the utter abomination that this show is.

I have problems with this show first ruby is so bossy she drags max into her dumb things with her friend for example: one episode she thinks max shouldn't go outside because it's snowing REALLY? So she drags max into doing dumb stuff like making necklaces and other dumb stuff and max wants to go outside and he says outside a lot so then her friend Eloise is outside so then she wants to go out there because her BFF is out there. Second.where are their parents? Why is 7year old ruby taking care of her 3 year old brother. Last but not least the animation is well I don't know CREEPY? It's like Olivia the pig background style.
