I love a dysfunctional family more than anything but this is just four criminals, an idiot and a normal person living under one roof.

Just like SpongeBob SquarePants, Family Guy was once a very good show. Nowdays the show is kinda bland and most of the characters have changed into unlikable pricks (Don't get me started on Peter and Brian) Tbh the only character who is still a good character is Stewie, not to mention he's my favourite cartoon character of all time and is the reason I still watch Family Guy. - Zion1

Family Guy used to be funny back in the day but now it sucks. I also hate the spin-off shows like American Dad and The Cleveland Show because they're all EXACTLY the same kind of shows. All three shows have the same doofus fat husband/father with the hot wife/mom, the fat and/or looser son, and the teenage daughter whose hated by her own family. Also there's usually a talking animal and/or a baby genius involved in some way.

Family Guy just makes a 10 second joke about races, sexuality etc. South Park just keeps crossing the line and takes EVERYTHING way over the top.

Maybe if I was 10 I would find that funny, but I'm not 10. I'm 21-years-old. I honestly don't get what people see in this show. It's just overrated garbage that needs to be gone from the earth.

In my opinion I actually think that family guy (and other shows like SpongeBob) used to overrated but are underrated (or Overhated) why you ask? Well because after American Dad aired people say it's better then family guy! And also I think old family guy is overrated (and old SpongeBob)

I HATE THIS SHOW! Good GOD, WHY ISN'T IT NUMBER 1? People don't seem to understand the meaning of "overrated. " It means that the subject receives POSITIVE reception of which it isn't worthy. Everyone knows that Jersey Shore is garbage. You don't see people like, "Hey did you see the latest episode of My Little Pony? Best show ever! " I didn't think so. On the other hand, EVERYBODY constantly praises the evil garbage otherwise known as Family Guy. Why? I'm not sure. What's so funny about a stupid baby going "Mom? Mom? Mom? Mommy... "? Oh wait, that's right - NOTHING! It's NOT funny, it's annoying! The characters are bland and stereotypical. I mean, COME ON - we must have seen the intelligent baby clich茅 at least 20 times before. Also, MacFarlane's idea of "humor" is ridiculous. Cut away gags and pop culture references - that's all he knows! Plus, he is extremely offensive! He just LOVES to poke fun at minorities, black, women, Jews, and gays, doesn't he? Geez, at least South Park ... more

I used to like this show and I regret liking it because it's racist and offensive like when Tom Tucker in one episode mentioned autism if it was real or just an excuse for bad behaviour. As an autistic I say this show needs to die.
