I do agree with others that this technically is NOT a children's show, but I am almost ten, and I still love this show, especially Homer. Even if it does include blood, and sometimes swearwords, nothing has stopped me and my little brother (who is 7 in 14 days) from enjoying it. I am completely baffled as to why this show would appear in a list of children's shows. This is definitely not a show for children, unless you consider the word "children" to mean people over the age of 14. This show has

Although I would not call this is not strictly speaking a "childrens show" I do agree it can be enjoyed by all ages, and even though I personally would not show it to anyone ages 5-6 or under, I do believe if some one in this age range did see it, they would still be able to enjoy it because of the bright colors and the goofy voices of the characters. Any one ages 7 to 9 would enjoy it for the few jokes they do put in there for the kids, and would maybe start to understand and appreciate the characters and the plots. Any mature 10-12 year old (like me, who is 10.5 and obsessed with The Simpsons) would enjoy the jokes for kids, but would understand most of the jokes for adults, and would understand the characters and plots almost as well as a grown-up viewer, but, like me, would probably not understand the more complicated character development and the more obsure references. And anyone over that age could enjoy the show in all its glory, could appreciate all its characters and their ... more

I am completely baffled as to why this show would appear in a list of children's shows. This is definitely not a show for children, unless you consider the word "children" to mean people over the age of 14. This show has many adult themes in each episode. I know, I'm an adult.
