It's so trippy and nostalgic. Syd was an underrated genius and this has to be one of the coolest psychedelic albums ever, ranging from pop songs like Astronomy Domine to long instrumental trips like Interstellar Overdrive to fairytale stories like The Gnome or Matilda Mother. It might not be for everybody buy you can't deny it's one of the most unique albums.

This album goes beyond any "psychedelic"Gulmour guitar riff you can find in basically the rest of the Pink Floyd catalogue. Don't get me wrong, the rest of the albums are pure masterpieces. However, there is a reason why Syd Barret was so looked up to. His power to create something groundbreaking cannot be underestimated. This album really defines what experimentation is. Most of the songs ln here have a childish taste to them, and are so well crafted, with múltiple layers of very basic instrumentation that as a whole sounds incredibly ubique and melancholic. The lyrics are meaningul and poetic, and the production astonishing. Best Floyd álbum.P.S: Listen to the mono versión!

Not gonna lie people who claim this to be their best album ever because it's so psychedelic probably have never taken a psychedelic in their life. Its definitely a trippy and good album. But not even close to the masterpieces meddle, DSOM, Wish you were here, and animals.

This is a great album from Pink Floyd and it deserves to be in the top #4. I'm not gonna lie either-yes most of the songs are brilliant creative and catchy but come on nothing beats meddle and DSOTM! By the way I just spent $500 on Pink Floyd piper at the gates of dawn 1967 pressing.
