Why in the world are all the versatile and legendary bands such as Nirvana, Green Day, Guns N' Roses and Queen etc above this polythene factory? There's nothing new about anything in this genre and the 14 year old girls who don't even understand what they're saying instantly claim that the song is "deep". And when someone recommends better music, they start to send death threats and pointless fancams to those who don't like this band. Their comebacks are hilariously bad and the least intimidating of all. They think you're jealous of them or you're just a hater blah blah blah. This is needs to be number 1 because the praise they get is just so annoying that I can't go to any social media site without seeing "ARMY" comments or BTS shoved into our faces. - Hellohi

There's really nothing that's very original or good about them. They're only famous for their good looks and South Korean origin. Most of the members are full of themselves too, like Jin calling himself "World Wide Handsome". Seriously? How narcissistic can you get? Their music is overproduced and lacks originality. Autotune is used to hide terrible vocals. Their message is completely overhyped as well. They're not the first or only band to talk about "real issues" nor are they the first to produce their own music, yet they're treated like they've done something groundbreaking. There are THOUSANDS of artists who've already done all of these things (and more) with far more virtuosity and ingenuity than these guys. BTS is simply overhyped over-glorified.

Their music is just so boring. They try way too hard to make their lyrics sound inspiring, but it comes off as awkward...almost as if they were written by high school kids who want to sound clever and insightful but instead comes off as showy and pedantic. Composing and producing is sloppily slapped together and bland. As for the seven members, they are vulgar, arrogant, immature one moment and obsequious ingratiating the next. Their interviews are absolutely appalling and embarrassing to watch. And the fanbase is comprised of raving lunatics who are completely tone deaf.

They're really not any different from the other K-Pop groups out there. Their music is tragically unoriginal lack of any real originality. And their newest album is just the most pretentious pseudo-intellectual drivel I've heard. What also irritates me is that they're peddled as "next generation's leaders" but can barely carry an intelligent, insightful, unaffected conversations in their interviews. All their responses are pre-rehearsed, vague, vacuous contrived which leads me to believe they're biting off way more than they can chew. They have no real vision ideals as their delusional fans think they do.

BTS should be first on the list. Lame choreography, cringey pretentious lyrics, generic beats, a ridiculous amount of autotune to disguise the vocal line's HORRIBLE singing. Their rap line is actually quite decent and probably the only thing keeping the group afloat, but the three rappers are completely overlooked and neglected by the fandom. While truly iconic bands like Queen the Beatles offer us originality, grittiness, authenticity, amazing compositions, raw talent and pure genius, BTS is repulsively mainstream and unmemorable. All of their songs are just electronic sounds that you'd hear in pop music today, slathered in tasteless, tacky glamour devoid of any real distinctiveness or character.
