The Kings of psychedelic rock! Their music is absolutely beautiful to listen to. Richard Wright's keyboard skills were incredible. He created so many great sounds. David Gilmour is one of the top 5 guitarists of all time. Listen to his solo on Comfortably Numb and try to convince me otherwise. Roger Waters is one of the greatest songwriters and bassists of all time. Dark Side Of The Moon is the greatest album of all time.

They have great songs like all the songs from the albums The Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, and Wish You Were Here If you listen to the albums the albums would sound good. The Dark Side of the Moon, and The Wall what a classic those albums were even Wish You Were Here were but not as the other 2. The Dark Side of the Moon has all the best Pink Floyd songs in it for me but there are 2 other of the best Pink Floyd songs that is not on the album witch are Wish You Were Here and High Hops. I like all those songs the same. The album is a classic from begging to end that is like a greatest hits album. That is how good the album is. The Wall album was like that for me too.

The single greatest music artist ever. With most songs I can't remember the words too well but with EVERY Pink Floyd song not only can I remember the words but I can sing along to the guitar. Their music takes you on a journey from start to finsh, from Astronomy Domine (their first song) to High Hopes (their last). Before I heard Pink Floyd I didn't know the meaning of life. But after hearing songs like Echoes, Time, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Wish You Were Here, Money, Comfortably Numb (I could easily go on... and on) I found the meaning of life to be listening to Pink Floyd. I will forever be in debt to David Gilmour, Nick Mason, Roger Waters, Richard Wright and Syd Barrett.

They should be at #1. Each song is it's own story. Just listen to the albums dark side of the moon, meddle, the wall, and wish you were here. It is unlike anything I have ever heard. You can just sit there doing nothing with their albums playing and just sit there pondering about everything. The songwriting is incredible, and even some of their songs have no vocals, yet it is the best thing I have ever heard. Their album Dark Side Of The Moon stayed on the charts for 741 WEEKS! That is the longest any album has ever been on there. Pink Floyd deserve to be at the top.

2% votes. This must be a joke. They at least deserve to be 5th or 4th. For me they are the best band. Dark side of the moon is the best album. Check it out in any website if you want. The Wall and Wish You Were Here are also very good. Animal is good but under appreciated. They have never made bad songs. Their instrumentals and effects are superb and have awesome lyrics to back it up. They also touch deep thoughts and not shallow or soft ones. They are the best.

They brilliant! The gods of music! Michael jackson may be dead but he's not a top ten artist. Pink Floyd is a million times better. Others are good but Pink Floyd is brilliant!
