I really loved the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s and even the 2000s, but my favorite years were (2007-2012). So, I will say 2013 was when I noticed things were starting to suck! 2013 and 2014 were crap, and 2015 had nothing super exciting going on, I do think 2016 and 2017 were TERRIBLE! 2018 seems to be a little better, but 2020 will be great though.

You can't predict that 2020 will be good. Someone could nuke us in 2020. WW3 could start in 2020, so you don't know that. There could be another Great Depression in 2020. Not saying it will be bad, hopefully really good. - Frodomar49

Heres my timeline/opinion:1999: Born1999 - 2003: Awesome years! Best movies, best shows, best games and best music of the late 90s and early 00s2004 - 2007: Great years! But not as good as the earlier years, but still had a great childhood2008 - 2012: These years were okay, things were starting to change a lot2013 - 2014: Bad. Things were starting to suck2015 - 2016: Awful. Things were getting worse.2017 - Present: $#! tty music, movies, T.V. shows, etc.
