So. I think it is generally recognized that it's a good crrepypasta. However, the thing is- a lot of people say Jeff the Killer is better. In all honesty, I wasn't able to get through the whole creepypasta. The premise? Cool and interesting. Hey, a little unoriginal, but I can work with that. But the writing just... didn't feel real! At all! And don't get me STARTED on his fangirls. Though I don't remember the exact words, I saw a fangirl write something like this:I love him! He watches me while I sleep from my closet. I even think I saw him! He carved a scar into my arm. He probably thinks I'm dead now LOL. He is awesome!Really. Yep, a 13 year old with his eyelids carved off is hot. Yep, LOGIC.Slender man, however, doesn't rely at ALL on a handsome face. He doesn't even have one! I think he is one of the urban legends that started the whole creepypasta wiki/story thingermajigs in the first place. I also think that the would scare a lot of people if they actually saw him. Wouldn't it freak you out if there was a 10 1/2 foot tall guy with no face tring to kill you? I certaintly know that most of the people in this world would be. Well, not most. But maybe the little kids. A lot of people would be all like 'how can he follow me? He doesn't even have eyes! ' That's what a creepypasta is right? Stories made to actually 'scare' people. So, please, let's all give him a little more credit, shall we?

I have seen Slender Man in the woods near Bridgeport Michigan. He was tall and skinny and had long tentacle like arms. My friends and I were in the woods exploring and we found this trail camera. When we took the S.D. card out it said look behind you. We all turned around and glanced through the Bush and there he was. Standing there. We all screamed and ran the whole 3 miles home. We stayed in the basement the rest of the day and night. Glancing out the window to make sure He didn't follow of home.

I like Slenderman simply because of the sheer amount of mystery surrounding him.We know next to nothing about this being. Sometimes he has God-like powers and sometimes he gets punched and so he is also very inconsistent with his abilities. In the Slenderman 'The Arrival' game he was shown to have put an entire forest on fire simply because he wanted to and other times...not so powerful lol.Not only that but Slenderman is believed to be real by some (if not many) people and there is even evidence backing up the existence of the Slenderman. There is so much mystery around this 'thing' and it doesn't seem like anyone will solve the mystery of 'der Gromann'. He's the best Creepypasta 10/10 would wreck anyone if he actually has Godstage powers :3

Although jeff the killer is definitely a must read, and ben drown is BY FAR the best (huge legend of Zelda fan), Slender Man is almost a classic because of its popularity via videogames, media, etc, plus the daunting fact that although jeff the killer slices and stabs his victims, what slender man does exactly to his victims is unclear (varies from story to story, sometimes dramatically), plus, the origin of how slenderman came to BE slenderman is almost non existent and therefore mysterious. One thing that does creep me out about this story (and makes it a classic) is that supposedly it is based on a true story of a man luring children out into the wood to rape and mutilate them. and how did he lure them out... with notes and personal encounters. However, this is speculation.

I can't believe this is where I found slender man! I would've thought he'd be in the top 3 or something. I honestly think this is the most believable pasta when your talking evidence. I've seen so many documentaries and police tapes on slender man that has me questioning if he's really real, that's what makes slendy by far the scariest and best.

I really think that slender man is the scariest because when I listen to the documentary of slender man when I reached a certain part my body just shakes. After that, I immediately closed my computer and hide in my bed. I kept thinking about him and he really creeps me out.

Is the best creepypasta in my opinion, there are so many stories about it and seems to span over hundreds of years. Sure some of the things about it are fake, but I still believe it is one of the better ones out there, and is more believable than most.

This was the second pasta I had read. I believe this story is highly believable. Sometimes this pasta haunts me when I sleep and I dream I'm locked in a forest with no end, running from him. Yes, it seems slightly fake, but is a good read undoubtedly.
