They should ban offensive content in children's books and movies because there is no need for the author to say that kind of stuff in children's books and movies even if he is expressing his opinions.Also, it's time for America to limit it's rights of freedom of speech. I don't care if America will not become a democracy. Almost all countries limit their rights of freedom of speech. Even Canada does it.

I disagree whoever put this on the list. Because what if a kid is watching a cussing show? Then it censors. Then at least has not hear the whole word! But the parents can still change the channel because without censorship kids ALL over the world will learn cussing from songs or inappropriate shows!

Censorship ought to be banned for many reasons 1 is that people have no right to burn books or ban movies just because they think it might have a big effect on us. every writer should have the right to express his thoughts and opinions just like everyone else and shall not be criticized about it. however it is your choice about weather to agree or disagree with the writer.
