Created a really good game with ingress and had instant hype with Pokemon go.Problem is that niantic have proven to be awful communicators with their fan base which was partly to blame for the rapid and severe decline of Pok茅mon go.In the case of Pokemon go, updates have been steady but far too minor to keep the majority of the player base interested. Servers were unstable, tracking was turned off within weeks of launch and trading and battling with friends are two key features that were promised but have yet to materialise.That and niantic's ruthless attempts to close down third party tracking apps instead of implementing their own has caused nothing but anger and frustration with a large section of Pokemon go's fan base.
