I don't see how this relates to gender equality. Spike is a BOY and he's not an ass compared to the other dragons. Now you might argue that "But he was raised by girls," look at all the other male creatures, especially stallions like Cheese Sandwich and Shining Armor. They are males yet they are good characters. It's not because of gender that defines them whether or not they're jerks. Spike is a boy and he is just as well-mannered as any other colt.Not pointing out dragon racism here either. I have more of a personal issue with this episode"I don't act like other dragons? ""Oh, not even close?"But why would you want to? "Substitute the word "dragons" with anything else in regards to gender, race, or something similarI'm transgender, so this initial attitude towards a dragon (male) doing feminine things for the ponies (female) really doesn't rub well.I'll concede that other episodes are objectively worse (Rainbow Falls, Putting Your Hoof Down, Mare-Do-Well), but this whole episode was built off of that idea, which is a threat to all others with actions or interests that reflect something that society thinks they are not or shouldn't be.

It's like all the ponies are smothering spike because why the hell notspike has to be a girly even though he's a boy so he goes to a volcano where the badass dragons hang out and do stuff like jump into lava and steal.it's like if I was caught watching barbie or something, then someone saw me and spread this, then I went to the back of the school to see some emos, goths, tomboys (i kind of am a tomboy...i play a lot of games)...anyway the kids start smoking or stealing. I say hell naw and bounce...IT IS BAD. it's predictable, bland...GAWD

Spike goes find his home and finds out dragons are jerks thays it for the whole episode -_- at least make some dragons nicer but where they really mess up THEY MAKE THE DRAGONS TEENS I cants believe they were none spike's size! Then the ponies try to stop him._. Why didn't you do that 10 mintues ago! So basically this episode sucks
