Ok, this is going to surprise a lot of people here (unless you happen to be followers of Lily Orchard and Sketchy the Changeling, and I don't even like Lily). The episode where the writers decide to have Rockhoof want to commit what is essentially the T.V.-Y version of suicide! Surely, I wasn't the only one who screamed, "WHAT! " when Rockhoof told Twilight to cast the stone imprisoning spell on him, right? I'm sorry, but the writers went too far here. And what we end up getting here is a resolution where a serious psychological issue is treated as something that can be hugged away and forgotten about. And if that wasn't bad enough, Twilight only puts up minor resistance before finally giving in and agreeing to help Rockhoof go through with it, even if it was temporary! And Spike was completely nonchalant when he mentions it to the students! YOU DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES SHRUG OFF AN ISSUE THIS SERIOUS!
