I have two main reasons to put this track on the list. First, like some Mario Kart 64 tracks this track didn't age well. Maybe at the time, it was cool having to dodge all those cars, but now tracks like mushroom bridge/city, and moonview highway are the same thing but better. The second reason however, is the most important one. You see if there is one track that should be hated because of how brutal it is, it should be toad's turnpike. No, I'm not saying you shouldn't like toad's turnpike because it's hard. I'm saying that because of an inconsistency problem. Basically, people seems to hate how vanilla lake 1 and 2 are unplayable, but those same people say Toad's Turnpike is good because it's hard, even though it's way harder vanilla lake 1 and 2. In fact, I would say those tracks are some of the easiest in Super Mario Kart. I have so many other examples that it's not even funny. But that's not the worst part.
