Another incredibly revolutionary show that I personally felt was just a tad too over-hyped to deserve higher placement here, this show is not only THE perfect superhero cartoon but also THE perfect Batman cartoon, juxtaposing its campy and colorful comic-book art style with some of the darkest and most sophisticated storytelling themes to ever appear in a kids' show (ESPECIALLY a kids' show at its time, mind you).The Dark Knight definitely should have followed this show's example more closely, let me tell you (still a great movie, don't get me wrong, just kind of disappointing when compared to this) - xandermartin98
