I had to take Algebra in 7th grade because of a 6th grade placement test, and let me just say that it is not the easiest thing in the world! Try going from the simplistic 6th grade math, where the only "algebra" you were doing were incredibly simple equations with just one or two variables, to much harder equations that included negative numbers, multiple variables on both sides of the equation, and much more complex formulas that you had to learn! Easiest class of my life, took it when I was in 6th grade and breezed threw it. Maintained a A+ average and everything was peachy, but watch out for the probability and statistics portion of algebra it caught me a little bit off guard. Go in with a open mind and enjoy the easiest year of math you'll ever take.
