South Korea is a blessed country with beautiful and talented people. The invention of the Hangul (Korean alphabet) show how smart they are. Despite of their tragic past marked by multiple invasions, today they are one of the most developed and richest country in the world. Personally, I was introduced to Korea (less than one years ago) through Korean dramas and pop musics and now I have no regrets. I learned with the time new things about Korea and my love for this country continue to grow. By the way I am from Tahiti! You do not know where it is! Then look how far and big is the influence of Korea; even in the lost islands of the South Pacific we know South Korea! I love Korea!

Korea is a very fake inside and out. They idolize Westerners so much they change their faces, music and country for foreigners. Koreans get plastic surgery to be white, their musicians date white women, and they look down upon China and Japan even though most of their original culture comes from China, as all Asian countries do. I am Asian myself, and have always been able to tell people apart. In Korea, many people truly look the same. 20% of women get cosmetic surgeries, to the point where it is ridiculous. One woman cut her jaw into a triangle.

Korea has made great strides in the last 50 yrs. Japan had invaded and occupied Korea for over 30 yrs until they lost WW2 in 1945. After Japan's unconditional surrender the allies divided up Korea as they divided up Germany and Europe. That is how the country of Korea came to be divided. Then KIM Il Sung, a Korean freedom fighter who had fought the Japanese occupation came to power in the divided North. He, backed by communist Russia and China, attacked South Korea in 1950 in an attempt to unify the now divided Korea. The Korean War is sometimes referred to as The Forgotten War due to the little publicized fact that the US suffered many humiliating defeats and retreats. After the brutal Japanese occupation, the devastating division of a country, and the horrific Korean War, Korea was in shambles. For heaven’s sake, if South Korea was a Total Drama contestant, they’d be Samey/Sammy. A nice contestant who gets bullied by her evil twin. what do you mean, her 'evil twin'? Do you mean North Korea? Why the heck is it down here!? I've only been there for 2 weeks because I live in Canada but I already love that place! Not to mention it used to be a third world country about 60 years ago, and now it's one of the most educated, and has high technology! It has so many places to go to, has SUCH good food and the K-Pop is something that I like to most about it. Who gives a crap about the plastic surgery and all that stereotypical crap? Korea unlike America has its own cultures. Unlike Japan, it dosen't decidto bomb people randomly like pearl harbor and once they destroyed a part of Korea where people lived and thought of making it an amusement park. Thankfully, the Koreans got it back. What's so amazing about Japan's tech. They have good stuff, but that dosen't make it the most advanced country. Samsung, Hyundai, LG? Korean companies. Koreans usually get pretty decent in the Olympics. (by the way, Russia was so cheap for the women's figure skating. Yuna kim should've gotten first and the Italian should've gotten second. Norway should've beaten Russia. Viktor Ahn won three gold medals for Russia when he's KoreaN! That minuses four gold medals from Russia at sochi. I vote fro Korea! Gangnam Style! PS Poutin is a dick.
