I'm honestly pretty shocked that this series is so far down on the list. While it may not have gotten as much media attention as Harry Potter, Star Wars or Lord of the Rings, I feel like this series has a strong plot line which holds its own. That it ranks below Transformers seems pretty sad to me. The transformer movies aren't terrible, but they really do lack in any sort of character development. The female characters are simply there to serve as sex symbols and are constantly in need of being rescued. The series is honestly pretty sexist. Just a lot of stuff getting blown up and not a lot of substance.

This should make at least top 10. The novels are amazing and epic, well narrated and can make you imagine the intense and make your heart pounds. The movies are cool and beautifully made. Why this didn't make it top 10? Someone please rate this better! This is obviously better than that stupid Dark Knight. Superheroes are foolish and messed up, not like this epic series

My gosh, this is like, my most favorite series I have ever watched. Not only it's a love story but it's about fighting for peace and hope. Why isn't this farther up the list? I know that maybe the hunger games didn't get as much attention, but its got an amazing plot and the characters are brilliant. in my opinion the hunger games is so underrated! I love this series so much it literally owns me. its made me so moved and makes me cry in most parts. its even kind of realistic so it makes you think so much about the world.
